laboratory rats

Whee! First week of work was alright. All my colleagues are really nice and helpful. And I mean VERY. It's just that the travelling time is a little long and squeezing in the train before and after work whilst taking in more than dozens of perfumes and odours can be quite daunting sometimes. Anyhow, I'm glad that my body clock has adjusted itself to a normal timing. I no longer sleep at 7am and wake up at 5pm anymore. =)

Dear accompanied me to get my braces fixed just now and my ulcers hurt so bad. I have like 1 row of ulcers at my lower lip and it is so difficult to even smile and talk properly. Ohoh and Dear bought me a pair of havaianas!! Look!!

Wahaha! Cute eh? I love the superman guy. Then in return, I treated him lunch at some sphagetti restaurant and bought him 2 laboratory white rats. I was quite afraid of them at first cos' they are so much bigger compared to his mice and if they decide to bite me, I bet it'll hurt more. Then the nice shopkeeper gave a really huge tank for the rats and we have to call kor kor to fetch us since there was no way we could carry it home from Farmart. Just for the rats, even my dad came to help. Ahah! Prolly because brother didn't know the way there. Anyway, I got to go again. Kor is going to Dear's house with me to play the new card game 'Saboteur'. Wheeee time for bath~

graduation ceremony in SP 2007

I am now officially a free woman. Graduated from Singapore Polytechnic yesterday! Woots! But actually I feel a lil' sad at the same time. I've gone through hardships and had lotsa fun with my friends. Every single friend that I have made a difference during my stay in the Polytechnic. And I absolutely love all of them, even the queer ones. I won't ever forget you guys. Oh, and as you all know, I'm not one who will dump old friends for new ones. NO WORRIES! Anyway, there were lots of photo-taking with all the pastor-looking-like friends. It's funny how our new robe make us all look so much like pastors and naturally when we talk, we preach.

Then, to satisfy the demands of my Mommy, I went to Serangoon Broadway with my family for a portrait after the photo-taking session. And ewww, their mascara smells really bad. -please bring your own personal skincare products- Photo-taking at studios are my least favourite because the photographer would want you to adjust your sitting posture, tilt your head, put your hands correctly, comb your hair neat, smile properly, etc. It's so much of a hassle and there were lots of up-selling, but we got it done and over with. Thereafter, dad dropped me off at Marina Square for kbox session with my classmates plus a super budgeted dinner with them. As usual, the session rocks big time. Oh ya, to all my silent readers out there, it's time to start making some loud noises in my tagboard and make yourself be heard!! Stay tune for more photos tomorrow. =)

I don't wanna know.

data entry era

Since I'm stuck at the crossroads once again (not really surprising for a female my age), I asked myself what is it that I really wanted to do. And the one and only word which kept popping into my head was 'travel'. Maybe it is a sort of an omen? It's just like how Dear and I were arguing over which cute little animal to buy after his current mice die (I opted for a cat but he wanted rats). Then this man wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt just came out of nowhere. Maybe it was an omen too. Heh. Perhaps travelling is my destiny and I'm definitely gonna work towards it. This being my destiny, I have to have a job and save up some hard cash. ;)

Apologies for not updating you guys about my latest job status. I'll be working as a data entry person for 2 months. This job is kinda monotonous but well, it beats having nothing to do. To tell you the truth, after 4 months of slacking I almost went bonkers when practially everyone in msn asked me if I have a job or entering any universities at all. Dammit. I hate to say that NTU might be rejecting my application but, oh well. I will either study in a private uni and work at the same time, or look for a local uni next year. I don't see the need to get a degree, seriously.

Okay, and for people who are really curious as to what I'm busy-ing myself with nowadays, I have quite a few updates before I go MIA again. Chalet during the last weekend with Qi and friends was quite fun. Basically, we spent like about 15 hours of our time there on this game, Risk. Haa. You have got to try this game! I schemed too much and my allies ended up turning their backs on me. =x As a result, my territories were attacked by 3 enemies. If I could survive those attacks, then the history books should be re-written. Heh. And we went to catch some ren yao and had some yummy chilli crab at 1.30am on the second night - to the courtesy of Qi's mother.

I managed to catch some sleep when I reached home that afternoon, then met up with Peiqin and Jeff for some pubbing/clubbing at about 11pm. Dragonfly is not really nice because of the old crowd. But I only like it for the fact that there are 2 complimentary drinks on ladies' night. Heh. Then we went to St James Powerhouse and got a shock of our lives. We didn't know it was Gays' Night. Ahahahaha! The guys were cute but a pity, they were french kissing everywhere. And thanks to Jeff, he's nice enough to give us 2 utterly broke girls a treat. =D

I slept at 8am on that faithful Monday, and woke up at 4pm to go to work at Conrad Hotel as an usher. The job's really slack, I love it totally. On Wednesday, I went to town with Qin to search for my pants and we bumped into Eve along the streets of Orchard. Thereafter, we went to Coffeebean and I got myself my favourite chocolate. After Eve met up with her friend, Qin and I headed to Punggol, where Qin's house was. The stayover was quite fun, but her little cousin was such a little attention seeker!! However, I have to admit that this little fella is like an angel when he sleeps. =) After Qin and I got some time to ourselves, I got her hooked on Auditionsea. WAHAHAHA. Be glad that it's not alcohol. =x Okay, it is time for some reality check. Work is at 9am to 6pm tomorrow. Bedtime soon. OHHH I almost forgot to add! These 2 days I am like head over heels in love with this Japanese drama serial titled "Concerto Love". It originates from the manga "Nodame Cantabile". This drama is about the musical journey of these 2 musicians with some relationship and all those stuff. Not to worry, this drama serial isn't draggy at all compared to those boring korean ones and it's super hilarious. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* After I watched it, I really felt like putting in more effort into my piano playing. =) Aight, time for sleep.

Chuck all your dolls away, right now.

slackers unite!

Well, I thought everything was over. A call from him made everything okay again. <3 Let's see what the future has in store for us.

I've been catching up with primary school friends recently, mainly Hansel and Ye Xiong. -slackers unite- But I really hate it when they smoke, otherwise they're pretty funny people! C'MON LOOK AT THE WOMAN ON THE CIGARETTE BOX. And yes, they laugh like hyenas. Tsk. I really don't feel like writing the details. Ahahah. Oh and I'm seriously deprived of sleep nowadays. I tried counting sheeps but it only worked for the first 2 nights. Damn. To cut it short, I sleep when you guys out there go to school, and wake up when you all are at home after school. =) Okay, maybe I'll just let you in on a gist of what I'll be doing the next few days because I prolly will be MIA-ing again. Whoops. Sorry to disappoint you again eve.

Hee. I'll be going for a dinner tomorrow evening at Fish & Co' with Dear and his family cos' it's his dad's birthday. YAY. Nice food tomorrow =DDD Then will be heading to the chalet at Changi Village with Qi and friends until Sunday. Then it's back home, and pubbing at St James Powerhouse with Jeff and Peiqin. Haa. Then next Tuesday there's gonna be a sleepover at Peiqin's house. So happening right? Haa. And guess what after that? Time to get a job and contribute a part of my income to the family. Yoshii!!

I have a backbone, and it's even straighter than yours. =)

the breakup

It's hitting hard on me.
I've relied too much on him.

It's over.
