joy

Small little hands were slapping my face and arms while the birds outside were chirping merrily, going about making their morning nests. I was about to kill the brave person who had the guts to disturb my sleep, but that cute countenance came into view the minute I opened my droopy eyes. And I couldn't bear to. After I had a slice of bread, I fed him his porridge. Mama gave him a few picture cards and he dropped his toy cars instantaneously. He picked the cards up, shoved them near my face and read them to me one-by-one (pronouncing train as 'tray' and bicycle as 'marker'). And after he was done reading aloud, he flashed that innocent little smile at me. That cube of ice turned into melting water. Only you can make my heart melt..

My kawaii little nephew!

Everything was perfect yesterday and my nephew made my day until I spoilt the night by switching on the computer. Nevertheless, I had a really great night with the friends and the date.
