1st day in London

This is the first train we took when we were in London. It operates like the MRT in Singapore but it's called the tube and the only difference is the tube's really stuffy, hot, jerky, and during peak periods, you will be sandwiched between people to the extent that even if the train jerks really badly, there will be no room for you to fall.

A situation arose in the tube though. We were all quite surprised when humans and pets can travel in the same train, at the same time! So the excited me took my handphone swiftly and snapped a picture of these 3 HUGE black dogs. Aloysius (the guy at the back of the picture in white) did the same as well. BUT, he took his digi cam instead of using his handphone camera. The owner (the 'headless' man in brown jacket) of the dogs saw what he was doing, approached Aloysius and from our view, looked as if he was about to beat Aloysius up. It was a really tensed moment and I thought Chih Wee would go to Aloysius' rescue, but he didn't. Then I wondered, 'I took a direct shot of his dogs right in front of his FACE. How come he didn't scold me?' Hmmm. It is now that I realise he's probably a country bummer.

This is the route that we take when we're gonna head back to our hostel. It's a really long walk and trust me, you won't want to spend about 15 minutes walking back to your hostel when you didn't have any rest at all after a long day's walk.

Work in Zoo was alright for me today. First time in 2 weeks. That's because I went to walk around the Zoo and I didn't know that it can be so fun walking alone, observing certain animals that I particularly like without worrying about time. At about 10.30am, I rushed to the Amphitheatre from my favourite Reptile Garden to catch Carlos the Sealion. I fell in love with him! He's the most obedient sealion ever! Anyway, I went back to the office eventually cos' it started raining cats and dogs. Supervisor was packing up and getting ready to go home when I reached the office. So I had the whole afternoon to myself. I occupied myself by emailing Aisyah, researching about my favourite animals, wondering whether the 'stay in office, do not go out and do not be alarmed' practice is really due to an escaped animal or just a drill, and listening to a ghost story from Foong and got spooked by this umbrella in the office. That's my day.

P.S: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PATRICIA!<3
