a little more about london

Continuing with my previous post, I was really happy when I get to have my dinner at 10pm in the plane. Yay! But I couldn't sleep for the whole night cos' the seats were just too small and cramped!

Okay check this out. I really have to apologise for the small picture but if you wanna see a bigger version, just click on the picture. It's actually Dubai's city lights and one of my favourites because when viewed from the plane, it's like the prettiest lights you'll ever get to see at night. Absolutely awesome.

Yeah, this is Dubai's airport. Weird golden tree-like lights huh! We had a short stopover at Dubai for about 1 hour and then..

Tada! London! Those brown structures are actually rows of houses. Isn't that cool?! Anyway, the moment we got out of the airplane, it was like whoosh. Strong but cool wind! The temperature there is lower than air-con's. I was kinda worried back there that I didn't have enough warm clothes with me. But after a few days, I don't even need to rely on my jacket or windbreaker to keep myself warm. A long-sleeved shirt will do the trick.

Gonna continue about London next time cos' I can't post any pictures anymore. My Secondary School band conductor, Ms Doreen Tan is leaving today and because of work, I couldn't find time to go back and see her one last time. =( I really hate scolding people but I had to when the band used to be so ill-disciplined. When I did scold them, Ms Tan will hug me in front of the band because she knows that I hate doing that and tears will follow soon after (of course not in front of the band but in the toilet). She's petite, active, philosophical, super optimistic, has a never-give-up attitude and lots more. Aye. We've gone through so much together and I will remember and respect her as the great SSO(Singapore Symphony Orchestra) librarian/frenchorn player/teacher. =)

Work didn't really go well today like always. Drove the buggy again but I missed the parking spot at the Australian Outback and was being reprimanded. Well, what can I say? I'm new to driving, and I really did my best to search for the yellow box while driving. It's not like I missed that parking spot on PURPOSE! Hai. I can hardly wait for school to start soon! My results are not really good btw. Don't wish to harp on it and hope all of you are well!
