data entry era
Since I'm stuck at the crossroads once again (not really surprising for a female my age), I asked myself what is it that I really wanted to do. And the one and only word which kept popping into my head was 'travel'. Maybe it is a sort of an omen? It's just like how Dear and I were arguing over which cute little animal to buy after his current mice die (I opted for a cat but he wanted rats). Then this man wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt just came out of nowhere. Maybe it was an omen too. Heh. Perhaps travelling is my destiny and I'm definitely gonna work towards it. This being my destiny, I have to have a job and save up some hard cash. ;)
Apologies for not updating you guys about my latest job status. I'll be working as a data entry person for 2 months. This job is kinda monotonous but well, it beats having nothing to do. To tell you the truth, after 4 months of slacking I almost went bonkers when practially everyone in msn asked me if I have a job or entering any universities at all. Dammit. I hate to say that NTU might be rejecting my application but, oh well. I will either study in a private uni and work at the same time, or look for a local uni next year. I don't see the need to get a degree, seriously.
Okay, and for people who are really curious as to what I'm busy-ing myself with nowadays, I have quite a few updates before I go MIA again. Chalet during the last weekend with Qi and friends was quite fun. Basically, we spent like about 15 hours of our time there on this game, Risk. Haa. You have got to try this game! I schemed too much and my allies ended up turning their backs on me. =x As a result, my territories were attacked by 3 enemies. If I could survive those attacks, then the history books should be re-written. Heh. And we went to catch some ren yao and had some yummy chilli crab at 1.30am on the second night - to the courtesy of Qi's mother.
I managed to catch some sleep when I reached home that afternoon, then met up with Peiqin and Jeff for some pubbing/clubbing at about 11pm. Dragonfly is not really nice because of the old crowd. But I only like it for the fact that there are 2 complimentary drinks on ladies' night. Heh. Then we went to St James Powerhouse and got a shock of our lives. We didn't know it was Gays' Night. Ahahahaha! The guys were cute but a pity, they were french kissing everywhere. And thanks to Jeff, he's nice enough to give us 2 utterly broke girls a treat. =D
I slept at 8am on that faithful Monday, and woke up at 4pm to go to work at Conrad Hotel as an usher. The job's really slack, I love it totally. On Wednesday, I went to town with Qin to search for my pants and we bumped into Eve along the streets of Orchard. Thereafter, we went to Coffeebean and I got myself my favourite chocolate. After Eve met up with her friend, Qin and I headed to Punggol, where Qin's house was. The stayover was quite fun, but her little cousin was such a little attention seeker!! However, I have to admit that this little fella is like an angel when he sleeps. =) After Qin and I got some time to ourselves, I got her hooked on Auditionsea. WAHAHAHA. Be glad that it's not alcohol. =x Okay, it is time for some reality check. Work is at 9am to 6pm tomorrow. Bedtime soon. OHHH I almost forgot to add! These 2 days I am like head over heels in love with this Japanese drama serial titled "Concerto Love". It originates from the manga "Nodame Cantabile". This drama is about the musical journey of these 2 musicians with some relationship and all those stuff. Not to worry, this drama serial isn't draggy at all compared to those boring korean ones and it's super hilarious. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* After I watched it, I really felt like putting in more effort into my piano playing. =) Aight, time for sleep.
Chuck all your dolls away, right now.
